I have some suspicions about Burch being Elizabeth's last name. I suspect she might have been married to a Burch before marrying George and that her maiden name is something else. But, I have been unable to find any information to back up this theory. It is confusing to say the least that there are two generations that have a George Whitfield - Elizabeth Burch marriage!
