IMPORTANT NOTE!!! - I have no concrete proof as of yet that that Mary Dollarhide is the daughter of Asahel Dollarhide and Eutha Williams. In researching the Cox surname (Mary Dollarhide married Thomas Cox), several items have turned up to indicate Thomas Cox was from Randolph Co., NC before moving his family to Indiana about 1813, possibly earlier and perhaps living in Ohio briefly. Only Asahel and his brother Hezekiah live in Randolph Co., NC in 1790 when Mary would be between 0-10 years old. Asahel also eventually removed to Indiana in the early 1800's and Hezekiah is living in Wayne Co., IN during the same period as Thomas & Mary. But, what seems to be the most compelling in believing "our" Mary is Asahel's daughter is the name of his wife, Eutha. Mary and her husband Thomas would later name their oldest daughter Eutha or Youtha.
