JOSEPH ZEYEN DIES BY APOPLEXY STROKE - TAKEN ILL WHEN AT WORK AT FACTORY - Starts for Home Accompanied by Son and is Stricken at Door of His Church
Joseph Zeyen, 719 South E Street, an employee of the Starr Piano Co., while walking on South Fifth street this morning accompanied by his son Clarence, was stricken with apoplexy and died within a few minutes.
While at work early this morning Mr. Zeyen complained of feeling weak and about 7:30 o'clock was forced to leave work and accompanied by his son started home to secure medical aid. When in passing St. Andrew's church Mr. Zeyen swooned and fell in to the arms of his son. He was carried into the church vestibule and a physician called immediately but he died before medical aid could be given.
Mr. Zeyen was 47 years old and was a member of St. Andrew's church and belonged to a number of societies connected with that church. He is survived by his wife, Rose, five sons and two daughters, two sisters and three brothers.
